Rock Canyon High School is using Schoology, an integrated learning management solution that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for systemwide communication. Schoology enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond. We look forward to using Schoology in our classrooms each year to enhance connectivity and communication across our high school. With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the platform. Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment. We value your participation in your child’s education, and we encourage you to create a Schoology account.

Below you will find information with instructions on how to create, log into, and use your Schoology account.

Each student at RCHS has a unique access code that can be given to you by any teacher your child is enrolled with.  Once you receive this code, you can then proceed to the next step to create your account.  The access code gives you access to all courses the student is associated with.  You do not need a separate code for each class your child is enrolled in.

Once you have obtained your child’s Schoology access code, please visit the following link:  In the upper right hand corner of the page, click on the “Sign Up” button and select the “Parent” option.  You will then need to enter in the access code you were provided by your child’s teacher.  Proceed to fill out the rest of the information in order to setup your account.  Please note:  Do not use the Schoology Link that is on the RCHS website.  That link is intended for students/staff only since they are required to use their DCSD school email account to log into Schoology.

There are many features of Schoology and there is a How-to-Guide that parents may find very useful.  Please click here for those resources.
