Registration

All students must complete 3 things for course registration (linked further down):

Course Planning Worksheet - colored sheet of paper all students received in their English Class the week of January 26th
Online Course Selection Form - students must be logged into their Gmail account to access this Google Form
Infinite Campus registration

*We recommend that students fill out their Course Planning Worksheets and Online Course Selection Forms simultaneously, and then complete their IC registration

Course Planning Worksheets - used to plan your course registration, receive approval signatures from current teachers on any advanced coursework, and parent approval on course selections. All high school students received a physical copy in their English class.

Online Course Selection Forms - used to view all possible course options, complete all honors, AP, and CE contracts, request filling off periods, etc. Students must be logged into their school email to access this form.

IC Registration - Instructions can be found on students’ Course Planning Worksheets - Step 2. Non-RHMS 9th-grade families will NOT complete IC registration.

Rising 9th Graders at RHMS

January 21st/22nd - Students receive a presentation from high school counselors, along with their registration forms.
January 22nd - Future Jags Night - incoming 9th-grade families can get information from all departments on registration and learn more about the athletics and activities available.
January 22nd - Registration Opens on IC. All students must complete their Course Planning Worksheet, online Course Selection Form, and IC registration before registration closes on January 28th.
January 28th - Registration Closes. All students must hand in their course planning worksheets to their team time teacher by this date.

Rising 9th Graders from Other Middle Schools

January 22nd - Future Jags Night - incoming 9th-grade families can get information from all departments on registration and learn more about the athletics and activities available. Families will receive all required paperwork. All students must complete their Course Planning Worksheet, online Course Selection Form, and IC registration before registration closes on January 29th.
January 29th - Registration Closes. All students must hand in their course planning worksheets to RCHS from 5:15 pm – 7:15 pm.

Rising 10th - 12th Graders at RCHS

January 26th - 29th - counselors are in English classrooms presenting on registration (see presentations linked above).
January 30th - Registration Opens in IC - All students must complete their Course Planning Worksheet, online Course Selection Form, and IC registration before the portal closes on February 6th.
February 6th - Registration Closes. All students must hand in their Course Planning Worksheet and a print off of their IC registration to their math teacher.

Course Application Links:

Override Forms: All override forms must be picked up from the RCHS Counseling Office and receive all signatures before being considered. All override forms must be handed back into the Counseling Office by February 6th AFTER all signatures have been acquired.

Math Placement Information:

Incoming 9th graders from Rocky Heights will work with their current teachers for placement.
- This could include a placement exam.
Incoming 9th graders from ANY OTHER SCHOOL will need to take a placement test to take any of the following courses:
- Honors Algebra 1
- Honors Geometry
- Algebra 2 Trigonometry
- Honors Algebra 2 Trigonometry
- Trigonometry & Precalculus
- Honors Trigonometry & Precalculus
Placement Test Dates:
- Thursday, April 23rd at 3:30pm
- Saturday, May 2nd at 8:30am
- Sign ups will be available on the Math Department website
